Immediately I asked the staff for their manager. In the end she simply replied , “ the manager is not around. If u want we could recook the wing for you or we take out the dish from the bill.” Goodness. I don’t believe it.

WAITED CAUSEWAY LINK FOR TWO HOURS! OVER 100 PEOPLE STRANDED.

What kind of drivers are you hiring? And how are you managing your trips timing?

There’s around 100-200 peoples waiting for CW2 bus from 9.30pm up to 11.15pm, and there’s no bus in sight. We’d just been told by your workers to “just wait, there’s many busses coming soon.”

Been hearing this answer from 9.45pm until they close the counter and leave. We were even told to just take SBS 170 because there’s only 1 bus coming on the way.

We need answer for why there’s not even a bus within the 2 hours span? We are paying for you services, we have the right to know as to why there is no busses!

This happens everyday, no busses in the morning to SG and no busses at night to MY.

SEMBAWANG TOWN COUNCIL SLEEPING OR WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DIE?

Neighbors upstairs drop the bamboo sticks on my service balcony, called up Sembawang town council at 8.30 am on sat, but till 10.30 still no sign of staff, it’s very dangerous as the bamboo stick might drop any moment but seems that the staff is taking their own sweet time to come.

Service and respond is worse than Yishun Town council whose response is immediate and more efficient!

Just an update on my post, I was out the whole day on 07 Jul till 11 pm when I return, no call from anyone from sembawang town council and when I came home I found that the bamboo stick is no longer there and not sure has it hit someone as the bamboo stick might be blown off by strong wind. But no one from Sembawang town council think it’s a concern ! But to my surprise someone from xinmin newspapers contacted me about this issue instead !

BEWARE FACEBOOK PAGE TOUTING FOR CONTRABAND DRIVER

A Facebook page Singapore Part Time Job posted attractive job packages for delivery jobs.

A netizen enquires to the Facebook page under the impression that a part-time job is available. The Facebook page had many packages from full time with incentives to $30/delivery.

After receiving a Whatsapp from the page it turns out to be the delivery of Contraband cigarettes.

$550 a trip sounds attractive but going to jail is not worth it.

SAF MEDICAL INSTRUCTOR HELP MAN ON SIA FLIGHT!

On Friday (6 July), ME1 Lam Guo Wei, a Medical Vocational Instructor from SAF Medical Training Institute, was en route to Japan with his wife, a nurse by profession, when they noticed that a man had fallen unconscious outside the toilet just behind their seats.

Immediately their instincts as medical professionals kicked in as they assessed his medical state and shifted him to a part of the plane that had more space to work with. They checked his consciousness level and vital signs before asking him questions about his medical history through an SQ Flight Attendant as a translator. A Japanese doctor on board the same plane came by when the patient was stabilised.

ME1 Lam proceeded to update him on their medical actions and findings. The Japanese doctor deduced that no emergency landing was required. ME1 Lam said, “This was the second time I’ve encountered a casualty on board a commercial flight. Since my wife and I are medically trained and qualified to aid someone, we did not hesitate to step forward.”

The Singapore Army would like to wish the man a speedy recovery and commend our serviceman and his wife for being ready to step forward when required. #ArmyReadySoldierStrong Photos contributed by John Lin and ME1 Lam Guo Wei
