Up to date Feb 25, there are already 10 deaths regarding workplace accidents in February after the recent accident at Tuas whereby, 3 workers died due to burn injuries.

Ministry of Manpower(MOM) is now investigating safety breaches for the recent accidents.
Government sectors have said before that safety measures might have been breached due to the rush to complete projects that had been put on hold since the Circuit Breaker period.
Lack of manpower might have been one of the main factors for the cause of fatalities.
