100 NEW COVID-19 CASES IN SINGAPORE INCLUDING 1 IN COMMUNITY

As of 12 pm today (Aug 18), Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 100 cases of COVID-19 infections in Singapore.

2 of the new cases were imported, of which they were placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore

There are also 1 community cases, who is a Singaporean.

The remainder of infections are work permit holders currently under quarantine.

The total number of cases in Singapore is 55,938.
