In a joint news statement released by the Health Sciences Authority and the Singapore Police Force, the HSA conducted an operation on 18 March, to clamp down on the peddling of e-vaporisers.
Three subjects are currently assisting with investigations, of which a 24-year-old man is also being investigated for possession of scheduled weapons.
HSA received a tip off about several consignments containing vape items waiting to be collected at a storage facility at Tuas.
Two men were suspected to have turned up to collect the illegal items.
HSA officers then raided the residence of the third man, who was allegedly involved in the sale of the items, at Serangoon North Avenue 1.
A total of 1,157 e-vaporisers and 25,345 vape pods were seized from both the storage facility and the residence of the third suspect.

HSA officers also uncovered two knuckle dusters and a push dagger in the third suspect’s home, of which have been seized and the police are currently investigating.
