10,505 NEW CASES IN SINGAPORE, 8 FATALITIES


The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reported a total of 10,505 new cases on 12th February 2022 with 8 fatalities.

10,325 are local and 180 are imported cases.

The weekly growth rate is down to 1.54 (Yesterday was 1.74)

Case details

Of the 10,505 new cases, 7,818 cases are tested positive through ART of which 7,776 are local and 42 are imported.

2,687 cases were confirmed after testing with PCR with 2,549 local cases and 138 imported cases.

MOH reported 8 death cases bringing to death toll to 893.

Other data:

There are currently 1,206 patients in the hospital with 151 of them requiring oxygen and 22 are in the ICU.

93% of Singapore’s population has completed the vaccination program.

63% of Singapore’s population has received booster shots.

Statistics

In total Singapore has recorded 460,775 COVID-19 cases from the start of the coronavirus.

In the last 28 days, there were 158,734 amount of cases with 99.7% of them with no or mild symptoms, 0.3% required oxygen supplementation, 0.04% is in the ICU, 0.03% died.
