12 ARRESTED AT UNLICENSED PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT

On the 10 October 2020, Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division conducted an operation against an unlicensed public entertainment outlet, A total of 12 people were arrested for working without a valid work permit.

The raid was conducted at along Serangoon Avenue 2 on October 10, the shop that was raided is Joo Seng KTV Point

The operation lead to the the arrests of 1 man and 11 women. They aged between 22 and 39. Another 27-year-old man was arrested for operating an entertainment outlet without license.

Police investigations are ongoing.

If convicted of running a public entertainment without a valid license carries a fine of up to $20,000.
