12 ARRESTED BY CNB, MORE THAN $152,000 WORTH OF DRUGS SEIZED

On the 3rd and 4th of August 2021, nine Singaporean males, aged 21 to 29, and three females (two Singaporean ladies aged 27 and 30, and a Malaysian girl aged 21) were detained for alleged drug-related actions by Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) officials.

During the operation, a total of 624g of ‘Ice,’ 2,375g of cannabis, 53g of ketamine, 413 ‘Ecstasy’ tablets and fragments, 602 Erimin-5 tablets, 226 LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) stamps, 161g of substances were suspected of being controlled drugs, and 116 bottles containing liquid suspected of being laced with controlled drugs were seized.

Serangoon, Braddel Hil & Jalan Ampas

CNB police apprehended a 21-year-old Singaporean man

At Serangoon Road on the evening of August 3rd, seizing about 7g of ‘Ice,’ 24g of cannabis, and four ‘Ecstasy’ pills from him. CNB police also detained a 29-year-old Singaporean man near Braddell Hill on the same evening, and around 100g of cannabis was recovered in his proximity. A 25-year-old Singaporean man was also apprehended by CNB police in the area of Jalan Ampas, and around 5g of ketamine was confiscated from him.

Boon Teck Road

CNB police detained two Singaporean ladies, ages 27 and 30, and a 26-year-old Singaporean guy near Boon Teck Road in another investigation. A search was performed, and the 30-year-old female was found to have around 2g of ketamine and two bottles containing liquid suspected of being laced with prohibited substances.

The three suspected drug offenders were taken to a hideaway in the same area, where a 24-year-old Singaporean man and a 21-year-old Malaysian woman were also detained for alleged drug activity.

Bedok North Road

On the 3rd of August, a different group of CNB police stopped a car near Bedok North Road and detained two Singaporean men, ages 21 and 22, for alleged narcotics trafficking. A search of the vehicle yielded 612 grams of ‘Ice,’ 2,251 grams of cannabis, 45 grams of ketamine, 337 ‘Ecstasy’ tablets and fragments, 544 Erimin-5 tablets, 226 LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) stamps, 161 grams of substances suspected to be controlled drugs, and 114 bottles containing liquid suspected to be laced with controlled drugs.

Bedok South Ave 2 & Whampoa

Later that evening, CNB police searched a flat in the Whampoa area and detained a 26-year-old Singaporean man inside. A search was undertaken, and the residential unit yielded about 5g of ‘Ice,’ 1g of ketamine, 72 ‘Ecstasy’ pills, and 58 Erimin-5 tablets. CNB police also searched a flat near Bedok South Ave 2 on the morning of August 4th, arresting a 27-year-old Singaporean guy.
