
According to a media release, 12 foreigners were deported and barred from re-entering Singapore after they breached the circuit breaker rules.
The 12 people include 1 Malaysian, 1 Chinese national and 10 India nationals.
The Malaysian man was working in Singapore with a work permit. He had invited a friend to his home for drinks on the 18 Apr 2020. He was later caught at a roadblock while he was sending his friend home on a motorcycle
The man was charged with drink driving and his violation of circuit breaker rules. He was fined $4,000 and his work permit was revoked.
The Chinese national who was a work permit holder was arrested in by the police in an anti-vice operation.
She had allowed a man to enter her home for massage service that come with a happy ending. She was fined $7,000 and work permit revoked after she allows someone to enter her place without a valid reason.
3 out of 10 India nationals were charged with allowing another individual to enter their home without a valid reason. The rest of them were charged with violating the prohibition on social gatherings.
All of them were fined between $2,000 to $4,500 with their work permit or student pass revoked.
