
According to a media release, the Singapore Police Force has conducted an eight days anti-vice operation and arrested 12 women and 3 men aged between 18 and 38 years old. 4 other men were fined for breaching the safe distancing measures as well.
According to the police statement released on the 22 Jun 2020, the operation was carried out between 12 Jun to 19 Jun 2020 at Scotts Road, Balestier Road, Mackenzie Road and Selegie Road.
In the process, 11 women were arrested for violating the Women’s Charter Act and another 29-year-old woman was arrested for breaching the immigration law.
A 37-year-old man was arrested for using criminal violence to prevent a civil servant from performing his duties and another 2 men were arrested for a drug-related offence.
Investigations are ongoing.
During the operation, the police found a massage parlour operating without a valid license.
In addition, 4 men aged between 25 and 66 years old were fined $300 each for breaching the circuit breaker measures.
