13 SECRET SOCIETY MEMBERS CHARGED FOR SHOUTING GANG SLOGANS AT FUNERAL

13 men aged between 16 and 35 will be charged in court for offences under the Societies Act after shouting gang slogans at a funeral service which was held at Circuit Road on April 5.

The incident happened during the Covid circuit breaker period therefore they will also be charged for breaching safe distancing measures.

The police stated that the men chanted gang slogans to show off their affiliation to their gang. It was stated that four of the men also recruited new gang members.
