13,208 NEW CASES IN SINGAPORE, 6 DEATHS

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reported a total of 13,208 new cases on 4th February 2022 with 6 fatalities.

13,046 are local and 162 are imported cases.

The weekly growth rate is up to 1.39 (Yesterday was 1.23)

Case details

Of the 13,208 new cases, 10,366 cases are Protocol 2 infections of which 10,312 are local and 24 are imported.

2,872 cases were confirmed after testing with PCR with 2,734 local cases and 138 imported cases.

MOH reported 6 death cases bringing to death toll to 866.

There are currently 998 patients in the hospital with 96 of them requiring oxygen and 15 are in the ICU.

92% of Singapore’s population has completed the vaccination program.

59% of Singapore’s population has received booster shots.

In total Singapore has recorded 379,681 COVID-19 cases from the start of the coronavirus.

In the last 28 days, there were 85,357 amount of cases with 99.7% of them with no or mild symptoms, 0.3% required oxygen supplementation, 0.04% is in the ICU, 0.02% died.
