14 Y.O WENT ON $15,000 SHOPPING SPREE AFTER STEALING CREDIT CARD

According to the Police, a report was made after a man discovered that more than $15,000 worth of transactions was made on his missing credit card.

An investigation was carried out and it was discovered that a 14-year-old boy stole the credit card from the victim.

A 47-year-old woman along with a few teenagers ranging from 13 to 18 years old are involved in the case.

The woman bought clothes, beauty products together with two 17-year-olds and another 18-year-old. At least 7 teenagers were involved in the case.

The Police said that the report was made by the victim on the 21 September 2020, items including

  • Watch

amounting to $15,000.

The woman will be charged today (19 Oct 2020) for abetment by conspiracy to cheat, investigation are still ongoing for the 7 teenagers.

Yesterday the Police made a statement in regards to the case:

“The police would like to remind members of the public that unauthorised use of another person’s credit or debit card is a serious offence,”

If the woman is convicted of cheating offences, she is looking at least 10 years of jail.
