
In view of the pandemic, it has become a trend for people to purchase things online. This includes Singaporean all-time favourite fruit durian. However, it also comes with a risk for not about to check on the quality of the durian purchased.
It is the norm for people to pay upfront for online purchases which sometimes make it more difficult to do a refund for bad durians hence it will most likely to be escalated into a police case.
These were what exactly happened to some netizens who bought durians from an online seller “Duriansexpressdelivery” a new seller who shared a similar name with another online seller “Durianexpressdelivery”.
Apparently, “Durianexpressdelivery” became the victim of the durian saga after receiving multiple complaints from customers of “Duriansexpressdelivery” for receiving rotten durians.
Some customers are even blocked by the online seller after demanding an explanation or refund for the bad durians that they received. It was only when the police intervene then the money was refunded back to the victims.
