16 Y.O ARRESTED AFTER ALLEGEDLY ATTACKING MAN WITH KNIFE @ PUNGGOL

A 16-year-old teenager is due to be charged in court tomorrow (12 November) after allegedly attacking a man with a knife yesterday evening (10 November).

He will be charged with voluntarily causing grievous hurt by a dangerous weapon.

The police said in a news release that they were alerted to the incident on 10 November at about 6.30 pm.

The victim was allegedly attacked with a knife by a group on Northshore Drive at Punggol.

The attack allegedly happened because of an argument between the man and the YP.

The victim suffered cuts to his neck and was conveyed to the hospital conscious.

The group fled the scene before the police arrived.

At the time of writing, police investigations are still ongoing.
