17 Y.O ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY CHEATING FOODPANDA OF $14,000 IN REFUND

A 17-year-old teenager has been arrested for his suspected involvement in cheating Food Panda for a total of $14,000 in refund claims.

The police were alerted by the company on the 21st of Aug 2020 after they have been cheated into processing refund for the suspect. The suspect had allegedly lied about not receiving any order and demand for a refund.

After investigation, the police managed to identify the suspected and arrested him on the 24 Aug 2020. The teenager was charged in court on the 25 Aug 2020.

For his offence, the teenager could face a jail term up to 10 years and fine.
