
A 17-year-old was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing women in three separate cases at Pasir Ris.
The police said that three separate reports of sexual harassment was filed by the female victims against an unknown youth between August 28 and 31.
The identity of the youth was established by officers from Bedok Police Division and the alleged perpetrator was arrested on September 1.
He will be charged in court on September 2 for insulting the modesty of a person, voyeurism and intentionally causing harassment.
Upon conviction of in insulting the modesty of any person, he could face up to one years’ jail, a fine, or both.
Upon conviction of voyeurism, he could face up to two years’ jail, a fine, or caning, or any combiniation of these punishments.
Upon conviction of harassment under the Protection from Harassment Act, he could face up to six months’ jail, a fine of up to $5,000, or both.
