The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reported a total of 1,767 new cases in Singapore on 5 Nov.

1,639 of these cases are locally transmitted cases, 120 are dormitory cases while 8 are imported.
There are 284 cases amongst the community cases who are seniors above the age of 60.
The fall in cases today is likely due to the lesser amount of swab tests conducted over the Deepavali holidays.
9 deaths are reported today and they are all between the age of 67 and 85.
