19-MONTH-OLD TODDLER FACED RACIAL DISCRIMINATION BY OLDER KIDS AT PLAYGROUND

The mother of a 19-month-old girl shared how her daughter faced discrimination at a playground by the older kids.

She shared how her daughter was going about having fun and running around at the playground as the little girl tried to get on a ride and play with the other kids, only to have them disembark from the ride and snickering to one another.

One of the kids even allegedly told her daughter: “I don’t like you.”

The mother saw the whole thing and composed herself, telling the older kid: “That’s not a very nice thing to say.”

She then touched on how the discriminatorial kids were faultless, and that it is really their parents who were at fault; passing on their prejudices onto their children.
