A 19-year-old girl somehow fell from the kitchen on the 10th floor in the early morning and was sent to the hospital conscious. The incident happened at 5 in the morning on December 28, at Block 437 at Woodlands Street 41.
Residents in the area heard a loud bang in the morning and said that the Police blocked off the area.
Although the girl fell from 10 storeys she was conveyed to the hospital conscious. LianHe ZaoBao reported that residents in the area believe that the girl was “saved” by the number of bamboo poles which might have reduced the impact of the fall.
Police enquires was made and the Police said that the 19-year-old girl was apprehended under Section 7 of the Mental Health Act, she was sent to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital for treatment.
