Hey all, I was looking for a safe anonymous place to post my inquiry on as a newly S active woman. Just to preface, im 19 and just lost my V to my partner several weeks ago. I’ve been having protected (either rubber, or rubber + topical creams) S about once or twice a week with him since then.
He is my first ever partner, and while I’ve been enjoying connecting with my partner and exploring myself, I’ve been soooo worried about getting my period again.
It’s due any day now, and I’ve been having a lot of emotional fluctuations, acne, digestive troubles, abdominal aches, lower backaches, etc, all the great things that can come with PMS, the scary thing being that they also can double as early pregnancy symptoms and it’s admittedly left me very stressed out.
Is it relatively common to be a bit over paranoid about pregnancy at first? I was wondering if any other women upon first becoming active kind of held their breath for a bit as well, although I also feel I need to come to trust contraceptives. Thank you for letting me empty my mind!
Here are what netizens think:
- If u stress more the more it won’t come
- Stress often makes it come late and sometimes very late.
- Maybe you can try doing a test if your worried.
