
Two elderly Asian American women; one in her 60s and the other 85-years-old, were stabbed by a man with a knife while waiting at a bus stop in San Francisco.
They were conveyed to a hospital and both are in stable condition.
The incident happened on 4 May, in the afternoon (Pacific Daylight Time).
A 55-year-old male suspect have since been arrested.
The police are currently investigating, however the incident hasn’t been ruled a hate crime.
An eyewitness who saw the stabbing incident said that she saw the elderly woman’s back was turned and all she saw were feathers coming out of her jacket, and she was sure that the woman got sliced.
A GoFundMe page has been set up for one of the victims, 85-year-old Chui Fong Eng, by her grandson Drew Eng.
The GoFundMe page described the incident, saying that their grandmother was waiting for a bus home when she got stabbed with a long knife in her right arm which entered into her chest.
The page has since garnered over USD$135k in total.
