
The Ministry of Health (MOH) reported the latest updates of COVID-19 cases in Singapore, As of 22 August 2021, at 12 pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed and verified that there are 29 cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection and 6 imported cases.
12 have died from COVID-19 in August.

Case 67456
91 year-old female Permanent Resident, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 21 August 2021.
Her case was first reported on 3 August. She had developed symptoms on 30 July, was tested positive for COVID-19 infection, and was admitted to the National Centre for Infectious Diseases.
She had not been vaccinated against COVID-19, and had a history of chronic kidney disease, heart disease, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia and hyperparathyroidism.Â
Case 67630
87-year-old male Singaporean has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 22 August 2021. His case was first reported on 4 August. He had been conveyed to the National University Hospital for an unrelated medical condition on 4 August.Â
As he was symptomatic, he was tested for COVID-19 and the result came back positive for COVID-19 infection.
He had been partially vaccinated against COVID-19 and had a history of advance cancer, diabetes mellitus, hypertension and hyperlipidaemia.Â
