2 NEW COVID-19 CASES WORKING IN PUBLIC HEALTH SECTOR ON 1ST MAY 2020.

According to the latest media release from the Ministry of Health, two people working in the public health sector was tested positive for the Coronavirus.

The cases were announced by the Ministry of Health on the 1st of May 2020.

Housekeepers in NUH

Case 15259 is a 28-year-old male Malaysian national, and Case 15700 is a 24-year-old male Malaysian national.

Both have no recent travel history to affected countries or regions. They were confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 28 April. Case 15259 is currently warded at National University Hospital (NUH), and Case 15700 is at Singapore General Hospital.

Both cases are employed as housekeepers at NUH. Case 15700 had not gone to work since the onset of symptoms, while Case 15259 had gone to work prior to hospital admission.
