Two Chinese nationals, Yang Chenguang, 29, and Li Xiao Wei, 45, were charged on March 6, 2024, for assisting three individuals in illegally entering a Taylor Swift concert at the Singapore Sports Hub. The incident occurred on March 4, 2024, during the third day of Swift’s Eras Tour in Singapore.

Yang and Li were accused of aiding Shangguan Linmo, Hu Zhijin, and Yang Junhao in deceiving the event organizer, Kallang Alive Sport Management. Yang reportedly diverted a security officer’s attention as a distraction, while Li held onto a turnstile, enabling the three concertgoers to enter the venue without paying.

The three individuals who allegedly cheated their way into the concert were named in charge sheets as Shangguan Linmo, Hu Zhijin, and Yang Junhao. The suspects face charges of abetting the trio in their unlawful entry, which constitutes cheating the event organizer.

On 4 March 2024 at about 7.40pm, the Police received a report that several individuals had entered the concert premises at Singapore Sports Hub without authorisation.
