A 47-year-old ICA officer has been charged in court on 24 Nov 2020 for corruption after he was caught receiving sexual favours and bribe form two women from China. In exchange, the officer would arrange for an S-pass to be issued to both women.
Investigations revealed that between 2018 and 2019, the officer was offered an Apple iPhone X and slept with both women on multiple occasion. He also received cash reward from both women as well.
one of the women even provides him with a free massage and special service after as a form of appreciation for his help.
In total, the officer was charged with 12 counts of corruption with the two women were charged with 9 counts of corruption each.
According to the law, anyone convicted of corruption could be jailed for up to five years, fined up to $100,000 or both.
