According to the Police, 3 KTV establishments are currently under investigation for allegedly providing hostesses in their premises.
The Police said that 20 women of different nationals were arrested, they are between the ages of 20 and 34. The 20 women were arrested for their suspected involvement in vice activities and currently investigated by the Police.
The nationalities of the 20 women are Thai, Korean, Vietnam & Malaysia.
The raid was conducted along South Bridge Road, Selegie Road and Geylang road.
“One of the outlets had also allegedly provided dice games, which is a prohibited entertainment activity under the regulation,” said the Police.
The establishments were running under food licenses to operate their KTV, the KTV cluster of covid cases has reached a staggering 53 cases which have caused outrage among many residents in Singapore.
