Yesterday, a video of a man getting arrested by three officers went viral.
The Police has since released a media release on the case, the man has been identified as a 21-year-old and police officers who were patrolling the area wanted to conduct a check on him.
However, the 21-year-old man ran from Bugis to Bencoolen Street, officers who were on the scene surrounded the man and one of them was seen armed with a taser and urging the man to comply.
In the video, one of the officers was seen kicking a rod-shaped weapon which presumably is the baton that was reported.
The retractable baton was 15cm long and a knuckle duster was also found on the man. He hid the knuckle in his underwear.
