Man charged in court after using a weapon to slash a man at Ho Ching Road.

On 30 December 2018 at 7.45pm, the Police were alerted to a case of a 22-year-old victim who was slashed by a man at a pavilion beside Blk 116 Ho Ching Road.
Through investigations, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 8 January 2019.
The man will be charged in court on 10 January 2019 with voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means under Section 324 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he shall be liable for an imprisonment term which may extend to 7 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
