According to a recent court session, A 24-year-old man was jailed along side with his step-father for violently assualting a “stalker” to death.
24-year-old Ryan Xaiver Tay Seet Chong was given 4 years jail for one one charge of voluntarily causing grievous hurt.
The victim is 26-year-old Shawn Ignatius Rodrgues, the alleged stalker. Ryan claimed that Shawn had stalked him for years.
Ryan’s step father, 59-year-old Lawrence Lim Peck Beng who aid Ryan in restraining the victim was sentenced to a jail term of 8 months.
How it started
When Ryan was 10-years-old he met Rodrigues at a Catholic charge and Rodrigues was fond of Ryan, this resulted in Ryan to grow weary of him and started to ignore the victim.
Ryan later found out that the the victim used his photo as the profile picture of his phone.
How it ended
The incident took place on July 9, 2016 between 7.40 pm and 7.50 pm. at Yishun.
Ryan who wanted to teach the victim a lesson wanted to taught him a lesson. He rained punches on to the victim while his step father restrain the victim.
