
In Singapore, the legal system give no chances for those who has cross the line and sell drugs. A 24-year-old Singaporean man received his sentenced yesterday after selling a measly amount of weed to another individual.

He received five strokes of the rotan and 5 years jail as his sentencing.
Donovan Liew Wee Kiat was arrested in 2019 Oct after he sold weed to Muhammad Yusoff Sallim a 36-year-old Singapore.
The drug deal happened at a car park at Blk 3 Dover Crescent, the bag of weed cost S$380. 3 months after the drug deal Liew was arrested on the 7 October 2020.
Yusoff has been send to a drug rehab centre while Liew will be starting his sentence from 29 Sept 2020
