Teo Yao Hong, 24-years-old, pleaded guilty to 3 counts of sexual penetration of a minor and was sentenced to 23 months imprisonment on 7 October.
Another 4 charges were taken into consideration during his sentencing.
What happened?
Teo met the first victim, a 14-year-old girl on a chat application in April 2019 and starting chatting with her.
They started dating and she then performed sexual acts on him after she turned 16 years old.
Teo then purportedly found out on October 2019 that the girl had sex with another man and he felt “cheated and disappointed”.
He then returned to the chat app to “feel better” and met the second victim, another girl who was also 14-years-old.
He met her at her HDB void deck on 28 June 2020.
She was wearing her school uniform at the time and agreed to have sex with him, they then engaged in sexual acts on each other that same day, at a staircase landing.
Teo then went to her home 2 days later when she was alone and the two had sex.
He then returned again on 19 October and had sex with her again, he then went to the toilet to wash up afterwards.
However, the girl’s parents then returned home and teo hid inside the toilet for about an hour.
The father of the girl became suspicious and in the end, Teo came out of the toilet naked.
He asked Teo if he knew how old his daughter was, to which Teo say 15.
The father then slapped him in the face as the mother called the police.
Teo then asked if he could wear his clothes, but the mother refused to let him do so and made him wait for the police first.
He was later arrested and the police seized a pair of underwear, his phone as well as the girl’s phone.
