HONG KONG: A one-and-a-half-year-old baby girl in Hong Kong, North Point was suspected of being strangled to death. Police arrested the 24-year-old mother and classified the case as a homicide.
The police seized two suicide notes and some duct tapes at the scene, which are suspected to be related to the case. The serious crime team is investigating the incident.
Emotional while getting arrested
The woman who was arrested had wounds on her neck, she was emotional and kept shouting when she was sent to the hospital. The police at the scene cordon the area for investigation, and the case was handed over to the Eastern District Police District Serious Crime Team to follow up.
The baby girl’s body was taken to the mortuary by a worker at 3 am on Sunday (24th).
Preliminary investigations showed that the deceased was suspected of being strangled, and the case was classified as homicide. The 24-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being involved in the case, and she is being detained for investigation.
