24 Y.O WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DRINK DRIVING, CRASHED MERC INTO HOTEL

The Singapore Police Force said that a 24-year-old woman was arrested for suspected drink driving, following an accident that took place at Fairmont Hotel.

A yellow Mercedes Benz had crashed into Fairmont Hotel, with several furniture being knocked down, including a chauffeur counter, some potted plants and a luggage cart.

The incident happened on 14 May, and the police said that they received a report about the incident at about 11.50pm, at 80 Bras Basah Road.

At the time of writing, investigations are still ongoing, and nobody was injured in the accident.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the car had lost control while making a turn into a roundabout at the alighting point of Fairmont Hotel.

The impact of the accident resulted in the front bumper of the car being damaged, along with the abovementioned structures in and around the hotel.
