A 24-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision involving a trailer truck along the Seletar Expressway (SLE) on Wednesday morning.
The fatal accident took place on July 29 on the SLE towards the Central Expressway (CTE) and Tampines Expressway (TPE), prompting an emergency response from the authorities.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said they were alerted to the incident at about 9.50am. When emergency responders arrived, the motorcyclist was found at the scene and was later pronounced dead by SCDF paramedics.

Photos circulating on social media showed a red motorcycle lying on its side on the expressway following the crash. Emergency vehicles, including an ambulance, were also seen at the scene as officers attended to the incident.
A blue police tent was erected on the roadway while investigations and recovery operations were carried out, indicating the severity of the accident. Traffic in the area was affected as authorities secured the scene.
