A 26-year-old man pleaded guilty to one charge of rape at the High Court, with 5 other charges being considered during sentencing.
He is due to be sentenced at a later date.
The parties cannot be identified due to a court order to protect the identity of the victim.
What happened?
The couple first met in 2009 when he was 16 and she was 14.
During their relationship, he made her pregnant twice and she also went for abortions twice.
The 26-year-old man cheated on his 24-year-old girlfriend of 10 years and was dumped by her on 11 February 2019.
He then asked to reconcile with her, to which she then blocked him on Whatsapp.
He then went through her best friend to talk to her.
A fortnight later, he called her and asked her to come over to his house, telling her that he wanted to discuss marriage.
A few days later he then sent her a photo of a parang on his bed along with a threat, through her friend.
He then bought a knife and wanted to use it to threaten her to reveal whether she had sex with other guys.
On 26 February 2019, he texted her saying he missed her and wanted to see her.
After midnight, he saw her returning home and coaxed her into getting on his motorbike.
He saw her using her phone while they were on the road and he then stopped his motorcycle and tried to grab the phone from her, hitting her in the process.
He then cried when he saw a ring on her finger.
The man then calmed down after the girl agreed to go to his house.
They reached his home at about 1am and his family was sleeping.
He then stripped to his underwear and put the knife on her neck, asking her if she slept with other men.
She then told him that she had sex with her new boyfriend.
He then slid the knife across her thigh repeatedly and asked her for oral sex, to which she agreed to because she feared for her safety.
The man then raped her and smashed her phone with the knife.
She then left after getting a Grab ride and told her new boyfriend about the incident.
The police were then informed and the man was arrested on the same day.
