Hi, 27M here, never dated before but looking to get into dating scene by using dating apps, however I have just graduated and am jobless atm, hence would it be bad to introduce myself as a jobless guy to girls that I meet? Or should I wait till I get a job before using dating apps in case nobody wants to date a jobless guy?

Here are what netizens think:
- work on yourself first and the dates will come.
- welcome to the harsh world. The fresh grad phase (for a guy) can be one of the toughest moments of your life where your value in society is at its lowest, esp if you aren’t the top of the cohort, don’t have connections or if your parents not rich. You get ignored by both companies and girls alike, and probably start your way in a mediocre firm with low pay and very toxic environments (cuz all the hentak kaki ppl are there). Then it all boils down to luck, whether you meet the mentor that changes your life, whether you meet the down-to-earth girl who’s willing to work hard together with you. For me I met both when I was at my lowest, and I’m in a much better place today. Of course you’ll get envious of your peers who’re luckier to enter a good workplace upon grad and fly much higher and faster than you, but time works differently for everyone. Find out what you’re passionate and good at doing, and dive deeper into that. Good luck
- Come on…you think this is like those K-Drama, J-Drama, S-fairy tale meh. Jobless…then you go out to buy food and the most beautiful girl will fall in love with you immediately. Once you work…you meet ppl….then the chance of finding the girl to your gf is higher. Geddit?
- Get a job first, build up your career. Never too late to date and do not need to follow the crowds.
- Register a sole proprietorship. Doesn’t matter what it sells or does. Then fix up a date and tell her you’re an entrepreneur trying to change the world.
- Start a company and try to get funding with pseudoscience. Let me know if this works.
- Your job don’t matter when it comes to attraction. Ignore those who claim that cold monetary logic is the main factor here, that only happens much further down the line. You need to get your foot in the door first. But you should get a job anyway. You earn and it helps you to cover your expenses on your days off.
