The Singapore Police Force said that they have arrested a 27-year-old man for suspected drink driving offences following an accident in Bayfront Avenue.
A GetGo rental car that the man was believed to have been driving was seen speeding on the road before crashing into a stationary van.
Facebook page SG Road Vigilante posted a video of the accident showing the GetGo rental car speeding and going off the course at the road junction of Bayfront Avenue and Marina Boulevard.
It then crashed into the van that was waiting at a red light at the traffic junction, narrowly missing a motorcyclist who was right beside the van at the time.
The incident was captured on the dashcam of another car that was behind at the time, with one of the female occupants inside the car exclaiming after the crash “Wooo! Hoseh, lucky I never kena! Wooo!“
The Singapore Police Force said that they were alerted to the accident on Friday night at about 11.55 pm at the junction of Bayfront Avenue and Marina Boulevard involving a car, a van and a taxi.
The 58-year-old driver of the taxi and the 28-year-old driver of the van were both conveyed to the hospital conscious, and police investigations into the accident are currently ongoing.

Earlier this week, a 39-year-old woman was arrested for suspected drink driving after crashing her car into a drain along Upper Thomson Road on Thursday (18 May).
And separately on 13 May, an alleged drunk driver who purportedly reeked of alcohol was seen mounting the kerb along Serangoon and crashing into the fence on the road divider, before driving away.
And on 15 May earlier this month, 26-year-old Singaporean Sheik Ferdous Sheik Alau’ddin, who was the former Silat world champion, was fined $8,000 and banned from driving for 48 months for drink driving.
