27 YEAR OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR SELLING FAKE GAME COINS ONLINE

According to the media release, a 27-year-old man was arrested for his involvement in online scams selling game coins.

According to the Singapore Police Force, multiple reports were filed between 19 Feb 2020 to 27 May 2020 about e-commerce scams. The 27-year-old man went missing after payment was made for the purchase.

After investigation, officers from the Jurong Police Division managed to identify the suspects and put him under arrest on the 28 May 2020.

Investigations are ongoing.

According to the law, anyone convicted for cheating will fine a jail term up to 10 years and fine.
