A 28 year old man who had be convicted in 2016 for prostituting women was arrested once again after prostituting his 18 year old girlfriend and also for siphoning $40,000 from a company whose director he had cheated.
It was believed that the man started out with asking his 18 year old girlfriend to sell nude photos and videos of herself after losing money from gambling at a casino. When he could not find a job, he then asked his girlfriend to give him money by performing nude phone calls and selling her used underwear.
He charged $35 for each pair of underwear, which was delivered to customers through POPstations which were located in various parts of Singapore, $50 to have the underwear delivered in person, and $80 for the girlfriend to remove her underwear in front of her customers.
When the customers started to ask for sexual favours, the woman had no choice but to accede to his request as he would turn violent when she did not want to. The victim earned more than $40,000 from servicing her customers and the man used to money for his living expenses.
Eventually, when the woman became even more reluctant, the man hit her and threatened to expose her nude photos to her mother on her social media account.
The man will be sentenced on Friday.
