Facebook user Irene Tan’s pet parrot has been missing since 29 October, and she is now offering a reward of $2,000 for its safe return, according to MustShareNews.
Tan’s updated Facebook post
It has been more than a month since my African Grey Parrot, Max flew away. Every day, I wake up with a heavy heart, hoping that someone will return Max to us.
I am hoping that someone will know where Max is or if you know someone who has recently adopted or found a grey parrot, please seek help from that person – ask them where they got the parrot from, because it might be my baby Max. Please return him to us. We missed him dearly.
Max is less than a year old, and we had plans to celebrate his birthday in December. Max is our baby, and he has recently learnt how to call papa. It broke our heart.
He means the world to us. If you want, I can always get you another african grey to replace him, no question ask.
Please return him back to us. To you, he may be just a bird, but for us, losing him is like losing a child.
We have taken care of him like our child. His favourite food is walnut and grapes.
Every night, he will play with his bell before he sleeps. Every weekend we will bring him wherever we go, and he always looks forward to his adventures.
The cage is empty, and all his things are untouched. We are waiting for his return.
Please please can you return him back to us. I beg you.
Please contact us here if you have any news of Max.
