3 AH LONG RUNNER ARRESTED, LOCKED UNIT DOOR WITH BICYCLE LOCK

According to a media release, 3 men aged between 29 to 38 years old were arrested for their suspected involvement in loanshark harassment activities.

The police were alerted on 24 Nov 2020 to a case of loanshark harassment that happened at Toa Payoh Lorong 1. It was reported that the unit was locked with a bicycle lock and a debtor note was left behind.

After investigations, the police identified the 3 suspects and arrested them on 28 Nov 2020.

The 3 men will be charged in court on 30 Nov 2020. If convicted, they could face a jail term up to 5 years, fine up to $50,000 or both.
