3 ARRESTED AFTER SELLING 3200 COUNTERFEIT PRODUCTS ONLINE

According to the Singapore Police Force, one man and two woman between the age of 34 and 40 were arrested for their involvement of selling fake branded goods online.

The incident happened on the 28 Oct 2020, CID raided locations along Lorong Ong Lye, Choa Chu Kang Avenue 4 and Anchorvale Road which were areas used to store counterfeit goods.

At least 3200 counterfeit products were seized for investigation. Items such as cosmetic, perfume and various types of clothing were found.

The Police has been taking action against vendors who sell fake branded goods online and this is the second raid this week.

The 3 arrested suspects age from 34 to 40 years old and the products was worth over S$40,000.
