The Singapore Police Force (SPF) said in a press release that they have arrested three men between the ages of 57 and 66 for alleged illegal gambling activities.
Police officers from the Ang Mo Kio Police Division conducted an enforcement operation on Saturday (27 May) along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4.
About $2,968 in cash and gambling paraphernalia were also seized during the raids, and police investigations into the three men are currently underway.

THREE MEN UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR UNLAWFUL GAMBLING ACTIVITIES
The Police are investigating three men, aged between 57 and 66, for their suspected involvement in unlawful gambling activities.
On 27 May 2023, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division conducted an enforcement operation along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4 and arrested three men. Cash amounting to $2,968 and gambling-related paraphernalia were seized as case exhibits. Police investigations against the three men are ongoing.
Under the Gambling Control Act 2022, any person who gambles with an unlicensed gambling service provider shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or both.
The Police take a serious view of all forms of unlawful gambling activities and will continue to take enforcement actions against those who are involved in such activities.

3 men were arrested for conducting illegal gaming operations, and another 7 men and 1 woman were arrested for gambling through an unlicensed gambling service provider, with the age of the arrested people being between 51 and 64.
