3 S’POREANS CAUGHT IN KL AFTER M’SIA POLICE RAID LUP SUP KTV

Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) – An unlicensed nightclub KTV hired foreign girls to work, attracting tourists from Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, China, etc., A raid was conducted leading to the arrested of 20 men and women, including 8 Vietnamese escort girls.

At 12:05 AM Sunday (June 12), the Kuala Lumpur Police Unit (D7) raided a nightclub in Fraser Business Park, Mid-Levels, KL City, revealing that the operator was operating without a license.

Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Unit Director Habibie Senior Assistant Director said that the police arrested a total of 20 men and women, including a Chinese male guard, 11 Bangladeshi male employees, and 8 Vietnamese girls, aged between 26 and 58 years old.

He said in a statement today that the police also checked 85 people (aged 20 to 61), including 9 local Chinese male employees, 2 Chinese female employees, 2 Indian male employees and 2 Sabah male employees.

People from Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, China and other places.

“There were also 46 local Chinese male customers, 17 Chinese female customers, 3 Singaporean male customers, 1 Hong Kong male customer, 1 Indonesian male customer, and 2 Chinese male customers.”

Habibie said police seized receipt books and audio equipment at the nightclub, citing Section 6(1), Section 39B, Section 55B of the Immigration Act 1959/63, and Section 4(1) of the Entertainment Act (Federal Territory) 1992. Articles to investigate the case.
