A 30-year-old man was arrested for allegedly slashing his ex-girlfriend in the neck using a knife at Sembawang, according to Shin Min Daily News.
The alleged assault occurred on 6 March at about 7.30pm, and it took place near Block 341B Sembawang Close.
An eyewitness spoke to Shin Min Daily News, saying that the victim, a 33-year-old woman, had suffered several deep wounds on her arm and neck.
She also said that there was blood on the victim’s shirt.
Passers-by and good samaritans at the scene then rendered aid to the victim and attempted to stop the bleeding.
The victim was then conveyed to the hospital conscious.
The Singapore Police Force confirmed that they have arrested a 30-year-old man for intentionally causing hurt with a dangerous weapon.
