Snatched money from man
According to a report by Shin Min, the group had worked together to rob the victim.
The victim had met the group, wanting to pass the money to them and ended up having his money snatched from him.
It was unknown as to what had happened but an eyewitness saw and heard the two parties arguing.
After the eyewitness left to the second floor of the mall, he saw a person entering the mall with another walking away.
The remaining men in the store then appeared to try and stop the man from leaving by pinning him to the ground and one of the men subsequently left Subway after snatching a white package.
The other man then calmly walked away, as if nothing had happened.
The victim then stands up and screams “ROBBERY” and what he said afterwards was unclear.
Investigations ongoing
All of the men except one are charged with voluntarily causing hurt while committing robbery and are kept in police custody for investigations.
If they are subsequently convicted for their crimes, they face five to 12 years of imprisonment and caning of not less than 12 strokes.
