
31 Individuals has been arrested by the Singapore Police Force (SPF) for their suspected involvement in either illegal gambling or vice-related activities. The arrest of the 31 individuals come after a 5 days operation conducted by the Central Police Division.

According to the SPF, 23 men and 1 woman aged between 46 to 76 were arrested for gambling offences. In the process, $8,300 were seized.
In accordance with the law:
- Any person convicted of providing remote gambling service could face a jail term up to 5 years, fined up to $200,000 or both.
- Any person convicted for illegal gambling could face a jail term up to 6 months, fined up to $5,000 or both.
- Any person convicted of bookmaking could face a jail term up to 5 years, fined up to $200,000 or both.
In a separated operation, 7 women aged between 24 to 39 were arrested for their suspected involvement in vice-related activities. They were believed to have provided sexual services in private apartments or HDB units.

- Any person convicted to have acted as an agent for vice-related activities could face a jail term up to 5 years, fined up to $10,000 or both.
- Property owners who allowed their premises to be used for vice-related activities could face a jail term up to 3 years, fined up to $3,000 or both.
