According to reports, a 31-year-old man was arrested after a slashing incident occurred at the junction of Sims Ave and Aljunied Road (Near Geylang) on 03/08/17.

The victim in the incident suffered a wound from the attack and left a trail of blood right out side Singapore Geylang Methodist Church. According to witness on the scene, the incident happened around 2 pm and the police were alerted to the scene to arrest the 31-year-old.
Before the slashing occurred, the 31-year-old was seen arguing with the 29-year-old while holding a knife.
