33 Y.O MALE DRIVER KILLED @ PIE AFTER CAR WENT AIRBORNE, FLIPPED OVER REPEATEDLY

In a devastating incident that took place on Friday night, a 33-year-old male driver lost his life in a fatal accident on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE).

The incident was captured on video and shared on Singapore Roads Accident’s Facebook page, revealing the immediate aftermath of the collision.

A black car was seen severely damaged and overturned in the leftmost lane of the expressway. The extent of the wreckage indicated the severity of the accident.

Upon arriving at the accident scene, a blue police tent was set up in front of the wrecked vehicle. This tent is commonly used to shield the scene from public view and facilitate investigations.

A separate video shared on SG Road Vigilante’s Facebook page sheds light on the events leading up to the accident.

According to the footage, the black car was reportedly tailgating and attempting to overtake other vehicles before colliding with a light grey car.

The impact of the collision caused the black car to flip multiple times before coming to a rest on its side along the expressway.

Tragically, the 33-year-old male driver of the black car lost his life in the accident. The police were alerted to the incident at 9:01 pm on Friday. When they arrived at the scene, the driver was found motionless. Despite the efforts of an SCDF paramedic, he was pronounced dead on-site.

The driver of the light grey car, also a 33-year-old male, and his 23-year-old female passenger were conscious and transported to the hospital for further medical attention.

At the time of writing, police investigations into the fatal accident are currently underway.
