The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reported 3,348 new Covid-19 cases as of 16 October.

2,688 are community cases while 656 cases belongs to the dormitories.
There are also 4 imported cases.
475 of the new cases are seniors above the age of 60.
9 more deaths are also reported, 4 of them are male and 5 are female.

All the deaths reported are Singapore citizens and are aged between 60 and 89.
5 of them are unvaccinated and 2 are partially vaccinated. The other 2 are vaccinated.
They all had various medical conditions with the exception of an unvaccinated case who had no conditions.
The total death toll in Singapore now stands at 224, and the total case count is now at 145,120.
